- 3V-M5 A pneumatic switch is a type of circuit-opening mechanism which uses compressed air to function. Air switches work with the help of an air pressure regulator. The device can be operated with a single finger and hence, it is preferred over other types of switches. The device is suitable for use in laboratory environments, industrial plants and also in residential areas.
- This type of switch is commonly used in applications that require frequent opening and closing of circuits. These devices can be used for controlling machines and devices such as fans, heaters, motors, doors, etc. The device makes use of an air valve that releases air at high speeds when compressed by air pressure. The air valve is connected to the pneumatic switch. When the pneumatic switch receives compressed air from an external source, it opens an electrical circuit. Once the circuit gets opened, the electric current will not flow through it until the switch gets closed again at which time it releases compressed air that compresses the valve so that air can move freely through it once again.
